Just Reminiscing
$24.99

Trish Griffiths grew up in the inner-west suburb of Croydon, New South Wales. She was an only child whose parents separated and divorced when she was eleven years old. Her mother remarried and the life as Trish knew it changed. They moved to Thornleigh, onto a five-acre bush block. The stories in Just Reminiscing are written about her life and the interesting characters she met from a child until the present time.

As Trish writes: “Some stories reveal some well-kept secrets from my past, some reflect happiness, pain and the challenge and the joy of living, sometimes surviving difficult relationship dynamics.”

Published August 2026. Available now!

Colours of the Coast (2nd Edition)
$27.50

A vibrant collection of stories and poems, each exploring the theme of colour.

Fresh, playful, and full of heart, Colours of the Coast invites readers to celebrate the many ways colour affects and inspires us all.

Each piece offers a unique interpretation of a shared theme: ‘colour.’ While the writers call the coast home, the stories and poems themselves are not bound to place; their settings range widely across periods, places, and emotional landscapes. Together, they form a delicate mosaic of the human experience.

Meet a grieving son who inks his sorrow into skin. A former artist chasing the spark of a lost muse. The enigmatic Aunty Jean, in her unforgettable red dress. Drift into the tale of a stranger found in the surf. And discover poetry that asks what it means to love, to remember, and to be present for the moments that colour our lives.‍

This second edition includes a refreshed cover design, revised and additional contents, plus a more comfortable font size.

What Shapes Us
$29.99

What is it that truly shapes us?

Is it the people in our lives: our friends, family, and loved ones? Or is it our experiences: the moments of ecstasy, despair, and everything in between?

What Shapes Us is a compelling anthology of short stories and poems by Central Coast writers, exploring the many ways ‘shape’ enters our lives — both literally and metaphorically. Each piece offers a distinct perspective on how people and experiences mould who we are, and who we become. Together, they form a beautiful, tessellating collection of stories, with a wide array of people, plotlines, and prose for you to discover.

Thoughtful, surprising, and deeply human, What Shapes Usinvites you to reflect on the forces that have shaped your own life and how you, in turn, can shape others.

We help writers make their self-publishing dreams come true.

What We Do

01 / Working with Writers

We design and publish books.

We believe independent writers in Australia deserve a platform to share their voice and their story with their community. That’s why we offer total self-publishing support – from book design to print production, and everything in between.

02 / Connecting with Readers

And we sell our books.

To make life easier for our writers, we facilitate the sales process. We attend book fairs and fetes to connect with readers in-person, and our online bookstore delivers to 5 countries: Australia, USA, Canada, UK, and Ireland.

We support writers along the entire self-publishing journey.

Our Services

If you’re a writer of any kind looking to self-publish, we offer total support throughout the process, so you can share your story with confidence.

Book Cover Design

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover… but they also say you never get a second chance to make a first impression! (Maybe we should stop listening to them, and just listen to ourselves.) A well-designed book cover communicates the tone of your work and infuses it with another layer of meaning.

Manuscript Formatting

Manuscript assembly can be a tricky business. Fortunately, we love it — and we’ve got the chops for it, too. Liam has been formatting and typesetting big ol’ manuscripts since he self-published his first book, Open-Minded, in 2017.

Spell Checking

Liam started policing the English language at age 5, when his kindergarten teacher made a spelling error on the chalkboard. Since then, he’s been hunting down typos with all the fervour of Captain Ahab.

Print Production

We partner with a local Australian short-run book printing specialist, Aburra Press, a member of the NSW Guild of Craft Bookbinders. They offer excellent production quality and attention to detail, and can even create a prototype before producing a full run.

ISBN Registration

The ISBN, or International Standard Book Number, is a standard identifier assigned to published works. You’ll need one for each format in which your book is distributed — e.g. print, eBook, and audiobook. The best part: we can access them at a cheaper bulk rate than if you bought an ISBN yourself!

Sales & Marketing

Imagine this: you’ve written your book, gotten it beautifully designed and printed, and now you want to sell it… but the publisher just shrugs and tells you to figure it out yourself. That ain’t right! If you want support with sales and marketing, we can plan for it from the get-go.

About Us

Our Founder

Liam Stritt

Liam is an introspective creative from suburban Sydney, who since 2020 has made his living as a graphic designer.

His first foray into self‑publishing was in 2017, when he released his first book OpenMinded — a collection of essays reflecting on the human condition. In 2019, he followed with a novella entitled Alive. He is now at work on his debut novel, A Stirring in My Soul.

Liam founded Genreless Books in 2025 as a platform to support other independent creatives; to help them share their stories with that elusive thing called confidence, and gentle encouragement at every step.

Author's Testimonial

“There’s a magic to seeing your own words in published book form.”

“A dream made real. What seemed impossible became possible.”

“No status hoops, no gratuitous hurdles — just a creative, capable, quality professional willing to share what he knows and show the way. Thank you, Liam!”

What We Believe

Our Philosophy

Your voice matters.

Everyone deserves to be heard. And listened to. And given a chance to be understood. The self-publishing revolution of the 21st century means that more people than ever before are capable of creating and sharing their stories. We exist to empower you.

Your creativity matters.

We proudly advocate for human-first creativity. Writing is a sacred human tradition that has existed for thousands of years. It is an artform. It is a form of expression. Of communication. It is the human soul, bared on a page. As long as human creativity endures, so does the human spirit. We help it flourish.

But genre doesn’t matter.

We believe that genres are no longer the relevant way to look at the arts. In fact, they never were. We don’t need categories, or boxes, or labels to tell us who we are. We simply… are. And the best way to live, is to express the very essence of our soul. That’s why we defy definition. We are Genreless.
